About

GLP Stories exists because we couldn’t find what we were looking for. Honest, first-hand accounts of what it’s actually like to take Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound.

Why we built this

When GLP-1 medications started making headlines, the internet filled up fast. But not with the kind of information people actually needed. Search results were dominated by clinic websites selling prescriptions, pharma marketing dressed up as editorial content, and news coverage that swung between miracle cure and dangerous drug.

What was almost impossible to find was simple: what does it actually feel like? What happened in week one? What did you eat? Did it work for you? What was the hardest part?

The people with real answers were tucked away in Reddit threads, private Facebook groups and WhatsApp chats, sharing freely among themselves but basically invisible to anyone just starting out.

GLP Stories is an attempt to fix that. A single place where real experiences are collected and made searchable, so that anyone considering a GLP-1 medication, or already on one, can find what they’re actually looking for.

How it works

Every story on this site was submitted by a real person sharing their own experience. We don’t edit the content itself, just light formatting for readability. What people write is what you read.

Stories are personal accounts, not medical advice. We make this clear on every page. Any editorial or guide content on the site is reviewed by a qualified medical professional before we publish it.
